WHY MEN DON'T GATHER IN CIRCLES LIKE WOMEN DO?

Throughout history, women have always gathered in circles to share stories, laughter, tears, and wisdom. It's a time-honored tradition that spans cultures and continents. But why haven't men joined in on the fun?

Well, it's all about societal expectations and cultural norms. Men are often encouraged to prioritise individualism, competition, and hierarchy, which is at odds with the communal nature of women's circles. There's this idea that seeking support and sharing vulnerabilities is a sign of weakness, and that men should rely on themselves rather than a supportive community.

But let's be real, everyone needs someone to lean on sometimes.

Men have different avenues for connection, like sports teams or social gatherings with shared interests. These spaces allow men to bond and find support within the context of what's considered "masculine."

Men and women may always feel like they come from different planets, and that's okay! It's what makes us unique and interesting. Let’s appreciate and celebrate those differences while also finding our own ways to be more happy and content.

Women always understood the importance of gathering in circles to find support and wisdom. It's only now that men are starting to see the benefits of these spaces. And I keep on receiving more and more requests to organise a similar space for men – a free niche? Maybe!
